Woods and Corn

Near my home there was a group of fields that had been producing hay and “cow corn” for over 100 years.

In 1998 much of the final harvest was abandoned. During the winter, creatures of the field nibbled away at the corn.

In the spring the bulldozers arrived. Today the fields support 52 units of housing.
